Daifukuji temple in Kealakekua (Honalo), Hawaii is a 100-year-old temple under the guidance of Rev. Jiko and her daughter, Jikai. The temple features a Hawaii Kannon made especially for the temple. A guardian dragon soars in the sky above the temple, while cranes dance in front. Rev. Jiko and Jikai stand ready tp welcome visitors with their dog, Michi. A rooster adds local color.
