This painting has a very Garden of Eden feeling. I was inspired by an antique Rajput painting. However the symbolism has a completely different meaning. The cobra represents the positive energy of Kundalini Yoga and the fruit is shared as a gesture of love and nourishment. It has none of the negative connotation of the biblical Garden of Eden.
