Portfolio > New Work 2025

I'm interested in making a series of environmental Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. The work combines my love of carving and painting Buddhas and Bodhisattvas with my wish to help the environment. This painting shows Green Tara with a mom and baby elephant, a tigress and her cubs, a sea turtle and a humpback whale. I am invoking the Bodhisattva Tara, goddess of loving kindness to care for our Mother Earth and the animals.
