Medicine Buddha is the healing Buddha. He is invoked for physical, mental and emotional illness. Having a Medicine Buddha in your home brings a feeling of peaceful healing energy throughout. I recently traveled to Japan to present at the International Mokuhanga Conference in Echizen, Japan. The Sakura blossoms were in full bloom and were the inspiration for this piece.
