Dancing Shivani is one of my Everyday Goddesses. I portray women of diverse cultures as the goddess. Here I am referencing Dancing Shiva or Shiva Nataraj in feminine form. The goddess is attended by Brahma calves and her dog, Leo. In the sky on the left is Ganesha, the elephant-headed remover of obstacles. The right is Chandra the Moon God. In the foreground is a vase of tulips, a Shiva Lingham and a cobra a symbol for Shiva and kundalini.

This artwork is Mokuhanga woodblocks, I carved 2 blocks for the different colors. I also hand painted small sections. Mokuhanga is an old-school, labor-intensive hand printmaking technique. The inks used are watercolors and sumi.
