Chenrezig is the Bodhisattva of wisdom and compassion. He is in a Colorado setting with a doe, her fawn and a fox (local wildlife) in foreground and Eldorado Canyon in the background. He holds a wish fulfilling jewel a lotus and a crystal mala.
Original Mokuhanga woodblock, (traditional Japanese woodblock) hand carved and hand rubbed to print using watercolor inks. Mokuhanga a labor intensive old school printmaking practice. This Chenrezig combines wood block with hand painting using watercolors.
